How I work
After a consultation, Carmen learns about your desires as a person wishing to unlock creativity in a way specific to your journey. Once we establish your goals, Carmen designs a specific curriculum for you starting with 1hr sessions on Zoom or in person
Learn Songwriting - $75 for 1hr, $450 for eight sessions
At all levels of songwriting from beginners to advanced, we all experience roadblocks and need a little push to help get things flowing again. Carmen can help you through creative nurturance and a safe environment to discover blocks and most importantly, ways to dissolve them. She teaches songwriting techniques, fundamentals in composition, basics in recording, and how to take an idea and turn it into a beautiful song.
Music Business Consulting - $75 for 1hr, $450 for eight sessions
Are you an independent musician or recording artist seeking to take your business to the next level? Learn how to uncover blocks that are stopping you from becoming the artist that you want to be. Carmen helps clients step into their power as a musician and artists. She offers each artist spiritual and emotional council, along with clear guidance on getting in the studio, on stage, online and how to build a fanbase, branding and magnetic presence.
Vocal Empowerment - $75 for 1hr, $450 for eight sessions
As a studied vocalist for over 30 years, Carmen has seen it all. From belting out in loud venues to singing classical music in cathedrals, this coach can support you in your vocal empowerment and caters to all walks of life. She is a successful multi-genre vocalist and recording artist and has learned practices along the way to help her voice stay beautiful and resonant. With helpful practices, intuitive guidance and nurturance, Carmen helps your soul sing to the fullest!

Whether you believe you can or cannot sing, dance, write or make art- Carmen is here to guide and remind you that you were born to do all of those things. Everyone can suffer due to lack of self-expression.There are many modalities, all of which Carmen is fluent in, that can help you get those stuck stories out of your body and into motion. Learn simple practices to help unleash the creative life force within you that is calling to be free, to be seen, to be heard and to be appreciated.
About my Journey:
Creativity is one of the most healing things to nurture in your life. I assist people at all levels in the fundamentals of vocal empowerment, songwriting, creative self-expression, learning different instrumentation, and launching your artistic craft through music business coaching. Consistent creative nurturance can improve many other areas in your life, including increased self-esteem, mental clarity, increased confidence, overcoming fears of public speaking, healing chronic illnesses, and other physical, emotional, and mental health.
Music History:
Classically trained in voice, through New York State Summer School of the Arts 1998
Crane School of Music in Potsdam, NY 2000-2005.
Self-taught in guitar, piano, ukulele, and drums for 20+ years
Classically trained in trumpet by musician Herb Garman of Milford Central School, NY. 1990-2000
Launched Mama Crow Music in 2008
Lead numerous songwriting, vocal empowerment, and self-expression workshops
Co-Founder of popular witch-folk duo Scarlet Crow
